Easy Divers Red Sea is a PADI 5* Gold Palm Resort, an accredited BSAC School and a TDI centre.

We teach a large variety of scuba diving courses but whether it is a Bubble Maker course for a shy 9 year old or a Wreck Diving Speciality Course for a couple of very experienced army commandoes, we recognise that each and every student is different and that their needs are unique. Our experienced staff and our understanding Management team are able to sympathetically organise and offer the best training possible.

Our multi lingual team of Instructors has air-conditioned classrooms, heated swimming pools and teaching materials in several languages, available to them, to create a comfortable environment in which fun and learning can easily blend together. With all our beginners' courses, we are able to introduce students to the wonderful, warm blue waters of the Red Sea using our House Reefs, easily walking from the beach as opposed to jumping off a boat in deep water.

There is a wide range of courses available and we hope that the information on this web site will assist you in choosing the correct programme. After reading the information here, do please contact us for any further information you may require. We can also assist you in choosing the best course for you.

We teach using the training programmes from three different organisations, PADI, BSAC and TDI.

PADI

The majority of “learn-to-dive” programmes, which we organise are with the PADI system. One of the most attractive features of the PADI training is that clients can cover as much of the course as they wish (within a certain structure), on any particular holiday and then continue with more training at a later date.

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors. PADI training material is ideally suited to learning scuba diving as part of a vacation.

The courses are described as modular, like a series of building blocks, each section of each course can be added to, for the next course.

If you are not sure about taking the whole course then just the first day can be booked (this is the equivalent of a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course). At the end of this session (which includes a hand-in-hand dive on the House Reef) you can decide whether or not you wish to do more training. At the end of the second day you will have completed enough training to be awarded the PADI Scuba Diver qualification. (This is a "limited" qualification that allows shallow diving with a PADI professional). Or with just two more days, with four dives and the PADI Open Water Course will be completed. Looking at the training in this way has three advantages:

  • You do not have to commit your self to the whole course in advance.

  • Each of the "bits" of training, successfully completed, will be signed off by your instructor and the course can be completed at a later date.

  • With Easy Divers Red Sea we will only charge you for the days you have attended training, as long as you inform us of your intentions.

Following the beginners courses there is a full range of further programmes within the PADI System, as are detailed further in the PADI section.

One of the most popular courses is the Scuba Review. This is an excellent programme which refreshes and reminds clients of their scuba training. It is particularly useful for divers who have not been into the water for six months or more.

The British Sub Aqua Club is the largest UK diving club. Their training programmes are suited to diving in a variety of conditions. Self-sufficiency is a main theme with BSAC training.

BSAC

The world’s oldest and largest diving club, with more than 1250 branches in over 50 countries. Thousands of divers have been trained the BSAC way with over 12,000 joining every year. At the core of BSAC’s training are safety, thoroughness and self-reliance. Most of the BSAC training, which we teach, is in co-operation with various BSAC clubs. Our flexibility and guaranteed diving weather means that we are able to complete portions of courses and other elements of “catch-up” training and qualifying dives. We can also teach the Ocean Diver and the Sports Diver courses in their entirety.

TDI

TDI was formed in 1994 by some of diving's most experienced instructors to bring technical applications of the sport to a wider audience. TDI's library of training materials and texts has become known as the industry's best and most professional resources. Most importantly, TDI has the best safety record of all training agencies.

Whether your interests lie in nitrox, rebreathers, mixed gas or any of the many other programs that TDI offers you can be assured that you will be participating in training that offers you the "cutting edge" of diving technology.

All of us at Easy Divers Red Sea recognise that there are many different reasons why clients choose to learn scuba diving. Most will want to be able to dive safely for the pure pleasure of seeing the underwater world and its beautiful life, without disturbing the delicate marine environment. Others may want to progress through further training and explore more adventurous diving. In which case please look at our PADI and BSAC course details. If learning the additional skills neccersary for using more complicated diving equipment and entering the world of "technical diving" is what appeals to you, then please click on TDI . Otherwise just e-mail our dive centre staff and discuss your training requirements with us.
